Bio
I am Eva Garis, a Spanish Acrylic and Digital Artist.
My artistic narrative began in my childhood in Alicante, Spain, but it was my hunger for adventure that truly shaped my hand. I moved to Ireland in my early twenties, a leap that began a life of travel through various countries. Each place I’ve called home has left a mark on my work. My art is a crossroads where my Mediterranean roots meet a global perspective, blending the light of my origin with the diverse influences gathered from every border I’ve crossed. My work keeps growing with every life change I make.
Artist Statement
My work is an exploration of resilience, identity, and the deep emotional connections that unite us. I choose acrylics for their fast-drying nature, which allows me to paint at the same instinctive pace as my thoughts, capturing raw feelings as they rise before they fade into the next layer.
I don’t believe in overthinking the canvas; I want to feel and create in the moment. Through bold colors and thoughtful textures, I aim to spark a connection that transcends language barriers, inviting the viewer to dive in and discover the stories hidden within each stroke
